The museum’s new book club features a discussion of “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly: A Memoir of Life in Death” by Jean-Dominique Bauby. The discussion will be followed by a screening of Julian Schnabel’s award-winning film based on Bauby’s memoir of his life following a stroke at age 43 that left him paralyzed him from the neck down, with the blinking of his left eye as the only means by which he communicate. Purchase your book from the Museum Bookstore. The film, wine and light bites are free. Please RSVP and purchase your book by calling (954) 262-0234. Cost: Free with museum admission. Free for members, NSU students and faculty.
