Visit the Museum of Art’s current exhibitions “When the Stars Begin to Fall: Imagination and the American South” and “Miami Generation: Revisited,” for a day of art, history and culture from the American South and beyond! Participate in southern traditions of folkloric storytelling with Broward County Library, and explore textiles and quilting with contemporary artists Michelle Polissaint. Next, experience culture from the Caribbean island of Cuba. View a screening of the film “Cuba for Kids,” play dominoes, practice your traditional Cuban dance moves with IFE-ILE, and your Spanish with a bilingual exhibition tour! Free with museum admission.
