The first annual, highly-anticipated Lauderdale Live music festival, Dec. 6-8, is taking great music to the water, plus the beauty of the waterfront Huizenga Plaza. Produced by Be Live Events, the festival, featuring top and emerging artists, will feature a “Yacht Discovery Experience” on Friday, Dec. 6, during which attendees can enjoy a lavish celebration onboard three mega yachts. On Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8, the tunes will be flowing at Huizenga Plaza with performances by spectacular artists such as GRAMMY® winners Huey Lewis & the News and Lyle Lovett, plus the Indigo Girls and much more.

On Friday, Dec. 6, at the “Yacht Discovery Experience,” attendees will enjoy onboard entertainment, drinks and food across the 124-foot Murphy’s Law, 105-foot Independence 2 and 118-foot True North, all supplied by RJC Yacht Sales & Charters. Onboard entertainment will feature performances by Lee DeWyze, winner of the ninth season of American Idol; plus Dave Barnes, Andrew Ripp, Jillette Johnson and Jackopierce. “Yacht Discovery Experience” attendees will enjoy two complimentary onboard drinks courtesy of Vibe Las Olas, and a selection of delectable gourmet bites from Fort Lauderdale hotspots YOLO and S3. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Jack & Jill Children’s Center in Fort Lauderdale. The “Yacht Discovery Experience” is included with the purchase of a Captain’s Pass.

On Dec. 7 and 8 at the festival situated at Huizenga Plaza, attendees will enjoy 14 fan favorites, emerging artists and critics’ darlings. The Dec. 7 lineup includes Huey Lewis & the News, plus Robert Randoph & The Family Band, Matt Kearney, Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors, Lee DeWyze, Sons of Bill, Jillette Johnson and Andrew Ripp. On Dec. 8, Lyle Lovett will perform, as well as the Indigo Girls performing sets with band Shovels & Rope, and Jason Isbell, The Wild Feathers and Holly Williams.

General Admission Weekend Passes ($89 per person), VIP Passes ($199 per person) and Captain’s Passes ($379 per person) can be purchased here. All Dec. 7 and Dec. 8 performances are included with General Admission and VIP Pass purchases. In addition to entry to the “Yacht Discovery Experience,” Captain’s Pass holders will receive a ticket to the official “Lauderdale Live After Party,” to be held at Revolution Live, featuring drink specials, DJs and surprise appearances.
