Women’s History Month features “Through the Sawgrass: Women Impacting South Florida History”

In honor of Women’s History Month, World Water Month, and year of the Women’s Suffrage Centennial, award-winning photographer Lisette Morales presents “Through the Sawgrass: Women Impacting South Florida History” at History Fort Lauderdale. The opening reception on March 8 at 1 p.m. will feature a keynote by Miccosukee Grandmother Betty Osceola, with an introduction by Pachamama SWFL co-founder Holley Rauen. RSVP at http://bit.ly/HFLThroughTheSawgrass. Entry to the exhibition is free with general admission:  $15 for adults; $12 for seniors and $7 for students (through age 22 with a valid student ID). Admission is always free for members, military and children aged 6 and under. The exhibit runs through May 25.
