| Free

Sandy Casteel has been a major player in the community, spearheading numerous projects relating to historical restorations and preservations. She has been both a resident and community leader in Fort Lauderdale for over 50 years and is currently a member of the Bonnet House Alliance and the Stranahan House Museum Board.  In the early 1970s, she chaired the moving of the King-Cromartie House with the Junior League. Her presentation will be a firsthand account of the hard work and perseverance that went into moving the King-Cromartie House down the New River. All attendees can enjoy 2-for-1 guided tours that day. Tours are at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring their lunch and come learn! Please note new location at Fort Lauderdale Woman’s Club, 220 South Andrews Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.
