Join Anthony Abbate as he shares some of his research on historical and contemporary sustainable design and construction practices in the hot-humid zones of the tropics and subtropics. Between his undergraduate and graduate studies, Anthony was employed by the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society to take field measures and create a scaled drawing of the Stranahan House. His presentation is a story of lessons learned, from architectural investigations to his experience living onsite. Anthony is a professor at the School of Architecture and associate provost for the Broward Campuses of Florida Atlantic University.
