November is Native American Heritage Month. Come meet the artists of History Fort Lauderdale’s groundbreaking new exhibition, “Seminole Women Artists.” The exhibition features the work of Seminole women artists in traditional and contemporary art forms including patchwork, acrylic and natural fiber. An artist talk at 6:30 p.m. will be preceded by a 6 p.m. theatrical mixed media performance by Colorful Warrior Theatre, honoring the contributions of Seminole women to the history and future of our region. The “Seminole Women Artists” exhibition will be on display from Nov. 5–30. The Opening Crafts & Culture Day will be on Nov. 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. RSVP requested.
