Join Fort Lauderdale Historical Society in an evening with Sen. George S. LeMieux and journalist Laura E. Mize, as they discuss their new book release, “Florida Made: The 25 Most Important Figures Who Shaped the State.” George S. LeMieux is a native Floridian who has a varied career in both the public and private sectors. He served as Florida’s 34th U.S. senator in the 111th Congress. Laura Mize is a freelance journalist and former reporter for the Palm Beach Post.
