Fall classes for adults will begin in September at Broward Center for the Performing Arts! Adult acting-monologue building, and adult Broadway dance classes will be available. All classes will be held in accordance with CDC, state and local health and safety guidelines.
ADULT ACTING-MONOLOGUE BUILDING TUESDAYS 6:30 – 8:00 PM | $235
This is the time to build: build on your skills, update your repertoire, prepare for after “the pause” and hey, have some fun while doing it. A strong, multi-layered character is crucial in the actor’s work and specificity is key. This class focuses on play analysis, the steps needed for clear and complex character development, and the integration of the breath, body and intellect. Reading of handouts and working on your text outside of class is required.

ADULT BROADWAY DANCE WEDNESDAYS 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM | $235
Designed for adults who just want to DANCE! Broadway dance is the focus of this high energy class. Taught by award-winning director/choreographer Ron Hutchins, Broadway Dance is the perfect class to help you stay fit while learning basic steps and explosive choreography from some of Broadway’s greatest shows. Spread the word, bring a friend and take advantage of this opportunity to embrace your inner dancer. No prior experience required. All dance levels welcome.
