Things are heating up when July rolls into town! On this glorious month, we salute the USA’s official birthday by donning our patriotic colors and watching as the night sky lights up for our entertainment. But did you also know that this month, we can celebrate National Creative Ice Cream Flavors Day, International Kissing Day, and Take Your Teddy Bear on a Picnic Days? These are only a few of the many reasons why we love July, and we think it’s one of the coolest months of the year. Here at The District, we offer loads of great art and entertainment events throughout the entire month. Dust off your walking shoes and explore the origins of Fort Lauderdale, cruise down the New River with old and new friends, try your hands at creating a new art project during Free First Thursdays Starry Nights, or sing along to the music of a legend. July is yours for the taking, so, what are you waiting for? Take a dip in the cool happenings of The District.
