There is no “hocus pocus” happening at The District this October — we are happy to report that this month is simply filled with the magic of some ghoulish delights and cultural pleasures (none of which you will want to miss!) Create a glass masterpiece; taste some “spooctacular” wines; go on a magical bus ride and discover the city’s mid-century flair; celebrate the nostalgia of beloved childhood heroes. It’s all here this month at the Riverwalk A&E District. In addition to a full calendar of events, there is also a tour of historic venues, a value-driven hotel package and even a Day in the District itinerary that will take you on a full-day adventure of Fort Lauderdale’s best spots. We have even created a packing list to help solve the age-old question, “What should I wear?” Therefore, may we suggest that this October, you forget the tricks and treat yourself to a howling good time at Fort Lauderdale’s Riverwalk A&E District!

Fort Lauderdale was very fortunate after Hurricane Irma made its unwelcomed visit to the state’s West Coast. With minimal sustained damage, the Riverwalk A&E District partners and city returned to their full scheduled activities within less than a week. Here is a photo of iconic Fort Lauderdale Beach, just a stone’s throw away from The District, welcoming visitors from far and wide back on its shore, immediately following the storm.
