With one foot in winter and the other in spring, March has always been that transitional month that promises warming climes and beautiful new blossoms. Here at Fort Lauderdale’s Riverwalk A&E District, we herald this wonderful month as a continuation of enjoying the music, art and great events found in our backyard. Whether you want to enjoy some opera with your tea or prefer to have the Mad Hatter do the pouring, you will find them both at the ready this month. And if you thought the Mad Hatter’s antics were extreme, then you haven’t seen “Pilobolus Shadowland,” a heady mix of dance, theater, circus and rock concert, sure to make a lasting impression. We also suggest that you check out the Bonnet House’s juried art competition and auction, and the celebration honoring the City of Fort Lauderdale’s 106th anniversary at the New River Inn. These are just a smattering of what you will find to do, see and experience in March. So get hopping, spring is here!
