Studies have determined that the average person looks at a painting for 32.5 seconds. In celebration of Slow Art Day, challenge yourself to spend 5–10 minutes looking at pre-selected works of art from the permanent collections and temporary exhibitions at Nova Southeastern University’s Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale. Slow Art Day is the global all-volunteer, event with a simple mission: help more people discover the joy of looking at, and loving art. Docent highlight tours available at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. $10 per person, includes museum admission. Free for museum members. Please RSVP to Adrienne Chadwick at achadwick@moafl.org or (954) 262-0227.
