NSU Series Lecture: Dr. Delores Smiley, Civil Rights in the 21st Century: Reclamation of the Proclamation

Executive Director of Diversity and Cultural Affairs at Fischler School Dr. Delores Smiley will take participants on an historical journey using the Civil Rights Freeway. The road will include narrative stops at significant landmarks along the way where current examples of Civil Rights will be shared in order to discuss and compare then and now. The opportunity to engage everyone will allow individuals to make connections and perhaps define what roles are necessary to complete or continue the journey.
