Against the Grain: Wood in Contemporary Art, Craft and Design opens October 12, and runs through January 20, 2014. Home to a permanent collection of more than 6,000 works, Nova Southeastern University’s Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale collections include significant pieces by the American painter William Glackens, artists of the Northern European Cobra Movement and contemporary Cuban artists.
