Among the 16,000 photographs this American-Russian born Roman Vishniac captured, his most memorable are of those impoverished and persecuted Eastern Europeans. Many of his photographs were taken of people and children of Jewish decent. His work was featured in the movie Schindler’s List. Due to his keen sense of observation and humanity, he created a record of historical proportions given through his lens. Mary Cavaioli is currently the Arts Integration Specialist for the District of Palm Beach County Schools, K-12 Curriculum, where she creates professional development programs and models best practices for teachers. $10 per person, including museum admission.
