David Lazerson, Ph.D., Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies, Fischler School of Education leads a discussion that includes a screening of “Crown Heights,” with actor Howie Mandel as Dr. David Lazerson. Based on Lazerson’s book, “Sharing Turf,” the film focuses on the story of a grassroots group that brought together blacks and Hasidic Jews in a Brooklyn neighborhood.
