This short film centers on Martin Luther King and Inauguration Day 2009 in a small section of Miami, Florida called Liberty City. Once a place full of race riot and poverty, the people of this small neighborhood in Miami have rebuilt their community over the last 10 years. The unity in the community is a testament to the dedication of one neighborhood’s pledge to build itself again. Bruce Weber has been documenting the progress and change of this remarkable neighborhood through his portraits for years. This is his first film about that change. The film is a tribute to photographer Gordon Parks. $10 per person includes museum admission; free with museum admission. RSVP to moareservations@moafl.org or (952) 262-0227.

Two performances: 11:15 AM and 3:00 PM.
