The Hip Hop Symphony

This innovative musical production promises to be an exciting and entertaining event for all ages blending urban, hip hop dance and music with traditional, classical dance and music. The Hip Hop Symphony will take the audience on a cultural excursion that will awaken the senses for a truly phenomenal experience combining the hip hop world with a classical symphony orchestra as never seen before.

Tom Rush

A music legend the world over, Rush has amazed audiences for over 40 years with classic tunes like “No Regrets”, “Circle Ge”, “Remember Song”, “Urge for Going” and “Merrimack County”. His impact on the American music scene has been profound, helping to shape the folk revival in the ’60s and the renaissance of the ’80s and ’90s. His music has left its stamp on generations of artists with James Taylor, Emmylou Harris, Tom Petty and Garth Brooks citing him as a major influence. After a 34 year recording hiatus, Rush returns with the release of his new CD, “What I Know,” and the critics are raving.

The Art of Wine and Food Series

Showcasing two young rising stars: Conrad Tao, a 17 year-old internationally acclaimed pianist, violinist and composer, and Anna Litvinenko, a 17 year-old virtuoso cellist and sought after concert soloist.

Seminole Stories: A Night on the New River featuring Everett Osceola

Join this historic journey down the New River as we follow the path where the Tequestas, Seminoles, settlers and even pirates and privateers took shelter! We’ll cruise quietly past the site of the Cooley Settlement, where a deadly Settler/Seminole skirmish resulted in a Seminole Indian War. We’ll locate the sites of each of the three US Army forts. And we’ll learn of the Seminoles struggle as they sought to adjust and adapt to an area that grew rapidly from wilderness to metropolis. This trip will be guided by Everett Osceola of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. Everett was brought up to respect his traditional Seminole ways by his mother and his mother’s fily, mostly instilled by his Grandfather Frank Shore. Everett shares some of the se traditional values and history that were bestowed to him. Everett is currently featured on NatGeo Wild’s television series Swp Men. $40 for Non-Members. Women Fully Clothed

Reflection of Times: Afternoon Tea Reception at the Stranahan House
