Going, Going, Gone?

In this photographic exhibition by Robin Hill, Broward County’s most important and impressive examples of mid-century modern architecture are highlighted. The exhibit examines the intricacies and eccentricities of South Florida’s iconic architectural style. Going, Going, Gone? comes to the Fort Lauderdale History Center courtesy of the Broward Trust for Historic Preservation.

Third Thursdays

The Museum of Art presents Free Third Thursdays. Join us every third Thursday evening from 5-8 p.m. for FREE admission to the Museum and additional special entertainment plus drink specials in the café.

All Together Now – Launch Party

All Together Now, the Museum’s dynamic gathering of young adults who have an interest in visual arts and design, is hosting a launch party on Friday, December 10th, in the Museum’s newly-renovated Breezeway and 1st floor lobby and galleries. Charles Fazzino’s Exhibit Entitled “Faces of Fort Lauderdale”

The Museum will showcase 3-D Pop Artist Charles Fazzino’s exhibition entitled “Faces of Fort Lauderdale” from Dec. 10, 2010-Jan. 5, 2011 (Lobby Section of the Museum). The exhibition celebrates the 2011 City of Fort Lauderdale Centennial Celebration and Charles Fazzino’s role as the Official Centennial Artist.
