Broward Attractions and Museum Month (BAMM)

Broward Attractions and Museum Month features 17 local museums, unique attractions and cultural centers that will band together to give residents and visitors the opportunity to experience the treasures that South Florida has to offer. United under the theme, “Join one, experience them all,” the 17 participating venues will open their doors to anyone who has a membership. BAMM is a month-long celebration of reciprocal membership between a group of cultural organizations that have come together to increase awareness and support of the historical and cultural treasures in Broward County.

There is a fun venue and an indescribable adventure for all ages. Spend an evening among ghosts at the Historic Stranahan House Museum, frolic in the gardens and have an alligator encounter at Flamingo Gardens or take a tour at the Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale – Nova Southeastern University. BAMM allows visitors to make valuable memories without spending a fortune.

Along with the Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale History Center and the Historic Stranahan House Museum, the other 14 institutions participating in the Broward Attractions and Museum Month include the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center, Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, Bonnet House Museum & Gardens, Boca Raton Historical Society, Cinema Paradiso, Flamingo Gardens, IGFA – Fishing Hall of Fame, International Swimming Hall of Fame Museum, Old Davie School Historical Museum, Old Dillard Museum, Plantation Historical Museum, Seminole Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum, The Children’s Museum Boca Raton and Young At Art. www.bamminfo.org
