“We saw Rent over the weekend. Great musical, made better by the awesome theatre. Easy to find. Easy to park. Attendants were very helpful. I didn't have any refreshments but they looked amazing. I saw people with flavored popcorn and champagne!! This is a definitely a place I will visit again!” – Prissylaine - West Palm Beach, Florida
“Fort Lauderdale hosts a wonderful Museum of Art that has a lovely permanent collection as well as world class traveling exhibitions. It doesn't overwhelm one and it's possible to see everything and really absorb it in a day or less. Most traveling exhibits have accompanying audio to make it more enjoyable. There is a lovely café and book and gift shop as well.” – Christy L - Fort Lauderdale, Florida
“Staff was very friendly -- We did a self guided tour and there was plenty in the house to read and lots of original materials to view and read. Self guided tour did not allow you in the other buildings like the school house, but it still gave us a good flavor for the history of lauderdale and its people and was reasonable and a nice way to kill some time before our flight back.” - CKCTK - New Jersey
“This is one of the hidden treasures of Fort Lauderdale, right on A1A and people on the beach enjoying the sun and sand wouldn't know it. Guided tours are available and really make for a wonderful visit. you can usually see everything in a half day.” - Christy L - Fort Lauderdale, Florida
“Excellent tour of the Stranahan house. Love the history in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Ft. Lauderdale.” - spuder - Kenosha, Wisconsin
